Trail of Painted Ponies "Dragonfly Magic"

Trail of Painted Ponies "Dragonfly Magic"

The Winter 2010 Ponies have arrived!  Just yesterday, eight new pony figurines galloped onto our shelves and they’re sure to brighten your homes and your hearts!  All of us here at Music City Cards and Gifts had a lot of fun unpacking boxes and boxes–and then more boxes!  The glossy new finish on their individual gift packaging was gorgeous, and upon inspecting the new ponies we were very impressed with the craftsmanship and artistry that went into the creation of this first manufacturing run by Enesco Gifts.  The new rearing ponies are also spectacular! We think the all-new trading card and name plaque accompanying each figurine is a great way to make each pony extra special and all the more collectible.  Some of our favorites upon arrival;  War Cry, Arabian Nights, and Carries the Spirit!  Leave a comment and vote for your favorite!

Another exciting discovery was the War Cry Masterpiece Limited Edition figurine.  This beautiful statue is a whopping fifteen inches tall, and masterfully designed with all the rich detail you would expect from the Trail of Painted Ponies.  This limited edition will be available only in 2010 and will not be manufactured after this year. This Native American-styled pony, ready to charge into battle, is the perfect addition to any collection of equine regalia.

And don’t forget to unharness the artist in you–just like 1950’s actor Tony Curtis did, kicking off the new Celebrity Collection with, Shiloh,  a beautiful new pony based on one of Tony’s original paintings.  The 2010 Paint Your Own Pony kits are a spirited rearing figurine canvas, to let the artist in you run wild!  These fun kits are a great gift for the horse enthusiast or artist of any age!  Each comes with 2 paint brushes, a set of 6 water-based, lead-free acrylic paints, and a story card. If you have already painted a pony of your own on the original running horse design, we would love to have you send us a picture!

Winter 2010 Painted POny "Bonanza"

Winter 2010 Painted Pony "Bonanza"

The Trail of Painted Ponies Winter 2010 figurines are about to arrive!  Set to ship in early March, ten new ponies are soon to join this very popular horse collection!  New rearing pony styles like Bonanza (shown above), Carries the Spirit, and War Cry will add rare variety to your collection, while all of these exciting new collectible styles will impress any horse collector! And, as the value of these horse collectibles continues to increase, these popular new figurines will add to the collectibility of any horse collection. What’s more,  long time Painted Pony collectors are sure to be pleased with the new gold plated display plaques, improved packaging, and the all new trading cards featuring a detailed description of the pony itself!

Additional good news for pony collectors on the trail is that there is also a new rearing pony style Paint Your Own Pony Kit featuring the same high quality resin figurine and artist’s paints as the original kit, but now in an all new dramatic pose!  Let the artist in you run wild and rear for joy with this beautiful new body style!

Even more exciting is that this Winter release marks the debut of the Trail of Painted Ponies Celebrity Collection, with the introdution of the first celebrity pony, Shiloh, which was designed by actor Tony Curtis!  Tony is best known for his Hollywood movies in the 1950’s and 1960’s featuring his trademark smooth style and good looks, but now he can be known for his masterpiece pony Shiloh.  Shiloh represents Tony’s undying commitment to the Shiloh Horse Rescue and Sanctuary, a non-profit organization co-founded by the artist himself and dedicated to rescuing imperiled horses and providing a peaceful place for them to live their lives.  What better way to honor the horse lover in your life than with this gorgeous piece of art?

We’d love to hear what you think about the new styles!
