This figurine was designed to honor Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee anniversary year as the reigning Queen of England for 50 years, which was in 2002 when the exhibit was in London. As you can see this regal cow is painted a shimmering gold and is decorated with the official purple celebration flag bearing a sketch of the crown and imprinted with the year 2002. This is the European version of this cow, as distinguished from the later version released in the United States with a different product number. Also, the gold paint used on the European exclusives has a good deal more luster than the U.S. version.
